A - We recommend that you send your packages
to Warranty or Repair via a carrier that offers a tracking number in order to track
the package and insure it.
Q- Can I have my lenses replaced?
A - For a minimal fee, we will replace both lenses.
This is done to insure that the color matches.
Q- Are scratched lenses covered under the Warranty?
A - Unfortunately, scratched lenses are not covered
under our warranty policy. But for a minimal fee, we can replace the lenses.
Q- Can I switch the color of my lenses?
A - Absolutely, this will follow the same process
as a replacement lens.
Q- Can you send me parts for my sunglasses?
A - Yes, if the style is currently available.
Specific parts that can be sent are: temples, nose pads and temple tips.
Q- How do I clean my sunglasses?
A - Use a lens cleaning solution or mild soapy
water and a soft cloth. Always keep them free of moisture.
Q- Can I get my prescription in a Hobie frame?

A- Polarization is a blinding concentration of
light. When sunlight strikes certain surfaces such as asphalt, sand, water, snow
and ice, it become polarized, causing glare. The only way to remove glare is with
a polarized filter designed to absorb horizontally polarized light.

A- Absolutely, Hobie Polarized Sunglasses protect
against 100% UVA, UVB and UVC rays.
Q - What is UV?
A - UV is ultraviolet light that is invisible
and extremely harmful to your eyes - BLOCK IT OUT with Hobie Polarized Sunglasses.
Q - How are Hobie Polarized Sunglasses polarized?
A- By laminating our state-of-the-art polarizing
film between two ophthalmic-grade lenses, the result is an optical sandwich that
works actively to filter out glare while letting in essential light.
Q - What is the difference between copper and grey lenses?
A- Hobie's copper lens offers a soothing brown
tint providing clear and accurate vision with extremely high-resolution. Our grey
lens uses a special blend of smoke and grey providing your eyes a more "true to
color" image.
Q - What is a Sightmasterâ„¢ lens?
A- The Sightmaster lens features a special blend
of yellow and green with a hint of copper allowing the darker things to appear darker,
the lighter things to appear lighter for exceptional contrast. By allowing contrast,
you can see the fish below the water.
