David Withee
As an avid outdoorsman and owner of DW2 Outdoors, David Withee (38yo) has shown time and time again his immense dedication to the sport of tournament fishing. Deployed twice to Iraq in support of active duty Army units, David has spent 7 years in the Army as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle Systems Maintainer while still managing time to pursue a degree in business management. Recently, David has established DW2 Outdoors in an effort to introduce fishing and the outdoors into people day to day life. David currently lives in Colorado with his family and Labrador retrieve Bradley, who all share his affinity for the outdoor lifestyle. His commitment and drive have helped him to be successful both professionally and fishing career. In the past five years, David has made a name for himself in Bass Fishing Tournaments spanning the Rocky Mountain region. David’s Tournament fishing rig is a Ranger Z521 with Yamaha 250 SHO, Lowrance HDS graphs and two 8ft pro Series II Power Poles. “The fit and feel of Hobie Polarized sunglasses is perfect… giving me a new perspective on sight fishing” says David.
